Funniest Teacher Moments

High school is just a ball of fun for most people. In high school, in addition to earning your diploma, you can make new friends, have fun, and make memories that last a lifetime. Most of the teachers here at Jurupa Valley High School have their own spin of events that have happened in their classes.
In Ms. Kelly Krocker’s class, she had a very weird moment when a student came up to her and said, “My mom had you as a teacher.”
In Mr. Robert Norwood’s floral design class, one time he tripped over the stand for his computer, resulting in him hitting his face on a corsage that one of the students just made.
From these memories, we learn that embarrassing things can also be hilarious. In one teacher’s classroom, the teacher misspoke during a lesson, and it sounded like the teacher said a curse word. All of the students and the teacher started laughing, and then they moved on with the lesson.
In many classes you are in, there will always be bits and pieces of a conversation that you hear, or weird things that someone says to you in class. Some examples of things that teachers at our school have heard include: “If you were born left-handed, therefore you are a panda,” or “Can I ask you a serious question…yes…thank you.”
Another thing that you may experience in high school is students being creative, or being very nice and surprising teachers, resulting in a very big shocking or surprising moment. Last year in Krocker’s class, every class that she had sang her happy birthday, and then the chamber singers came into her classroom and sang her happy birthday.
Also, in an anonymous teacher’s classroom, a student offered to fix the broken electrical pencil sharpener. The student began to dismantle the pencil sharpener before it was unplugged, and an electrical spark shot out at the student. Luckily, the student was unharmed.
No matter what your memories are of our school, just know that someone will remember that time when you asked “why is the sky green?” or if “Friday was a late start.” Make the most of your time in high school, because you will not always be here; it will go by in a flash.

This article is shockingly lacking in the shenigans of Mr. George. . .

i have not been in high school for very long and i already have had those moments or shared in them. my geometry teacher will often tell jokes that take the kids almost the whole class period to understand. my Arts teacher has also slipped up when he is trying to scold us and the articles in his hand will fall so then he tries to scold us as he picks it up. some of my friends also make the mistake in asking what class am i going to when im in the class with them.

I beleive in that! I for one love all my classes and wish for many happy memories as possible. If i wanted anything i could have at high school, it would be to know every single person on campus so everyone had a friend and didnt feel left out. i know the feeling and wouldnt want anyone else to feel that way. I love spreading the joy around =)

to me I think we should savior the memories we have in high school because like the artivle said you will not always be here; it would be gone in a flash. It’s true because one day you’ll be sitting in class laffing at a joke your teacher told and the next day your telling your kids the joke your teacher told you when you were in high school. So I say treasure the memories you had as a teen in high school because your only going to go to high school once in your life.

I love being a senior and being able to think back on moments from classes where a student would ask something obvious or stupid…
<3
Especially in my AP classes
to freshmen: treasure these moments.
