Andrea Lopez

Andrea Lopez is a junior at Jurupa Valley High School and is the Editor in Chief of The Prowler. She is a varsity cheerleader and has been on cheer for three years. Her favorite subject in school is English. Her hobbies include reading and watching movies (mostly ones starring Johnny Depp). She enjoys spending time with her family and best friends. She works at Las Playas Family Restaurant as a hostess and volunteers in her free time at Mission Bell Elementary School. In the future she plans to attend CSULB or USC and major in journalism.

Hunter Stuteville

Hunter Stuteville is a junior at Jurupa Valley High School. He is the Copy Editor for The Prowler He enjoys writing, watching movies and listening to music; he enjoys all types of music. Throughout his high school career, he has been involved with FFA and wrestling. Journalism is his favorite class because it’s fun, he’s good at it and all his friends are “awesome.” Hunter’s original draft for his student bio was too short, so Mrs. Schneider made him add more words.

Stephanie Lopez is a junior at Jurupa Valley High School and is the News Editor for the Prowler. She enjoys playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and shopping with Fabiola Maldonado and Tommy Perez. Stephanie enjoys writing about fashion and plans to go to college and pursue a career in the fashion industry. Her favorite thing to do is to go out and eat at In ‘n’ Out Burger. Melissa Pantoja is a junior at Jurupa Valley High School and is the Sports Editor for The Prowler. She enjoys being a part of Journalism because she likes the fact that she can stay involved with events at the school. She currently plays for the Varsity Girls’ soccer team as left middle. She has been in AVID since eighth grade and currently has a 4.1 GPA. During her free time, she loves listening to most kinds of music, eating all kinds of food, watching movies, drawing, and simply being her dorky self in order to make others smile.

Kristena Martinez-Romero is a senior at Jurupa Valley High School. She is the Student Life Editor for this newspaper and writes the “Advice from a Senior” column as well. She wishes to attend Cypress College and major in mortuary science, and to get many tattoos. In her spare time, she goes to concerts, eats, and spends time with her boyfriend. Alicia-Marie Kodis is a junior at Jurupa Valley High School. She is the A&E editor for The Prowler. She is also the Jurupa Valley Chapter Future Farmers of America secretary, and Riverside Section FFA Vice President. She has been involved with Girl Scouts for 10 years; she is working on earning her gold award. At JVHS, she is also involved with band, cheer, and track. She dances at Rainbow Express Dance Company, and loves to volunteer her time at Jurupa Parks and Recreation.

Fabiola Maldonado is a senior at Jurupa Valley High School and she is the Op/Ed Editor for the Prowler. She is very friendly and easy to get along with. Fabiola loves to try new foods and bake cakes or cookies. Her all time favorite restaurant is Buffalo Wild Wings and she loves spending time with Tommy Perez and chatting about life.  She enjoys going out with friends and family. In her spare time, she likes to sing with her sister and go shopping with Stephanie Lopez and Tommy Perez. After high school, she plans on attending college and majoring in nursing.

Silvia Reyes

Silvia Reyes is a junior at Jurupa Valley High School. She aspires to graduate and attend UC Santa Barbara and study English and pre-law. She hopes to one day be a lawyer. Silvia is a very outgoing student who enjoys being outdoors as well as being very active. She was on the varsity cheerleading squad for two years and the varsity track team for one year. She enjoys volunteering at a puppy adoption agency on the weekends and spending time with loved ones. On her free time she actively enjoys writing and drawing. Silvia loves her individuality and is pretty hard to miss, if you see the girl with the bright blue hair and broken glasses, that’s most likely her.

Morgan Santo Salvo is a junior at Jurupa Valley High School. She enjoys listening to all kinds of music, especially oldies. She loves to smile and make others smile as well. Laura Gilbert

Laura Gilbert is a junior at Jurupa Valley High School. She is involved with the girls’ water polo and swim teams, and has a natural aversion to land-based sports. She lives and breathes writing and videogames, as long as neither involves other people. Laura wears fake glasses for the same reason she wears the same sweater every day – because they’re comfortable and she enjoys the way her family rolls their eyes and sighs at her when she puts them on every morning.

Hope Logan

Hope Logan is a student at Jurupa Valley High School. She is a junior and currently on varsity cheer and enjoys it very much. Hope likes to be called “Hopey” and is constantly smiling and/or eating. In her free time she likes listening to country music, dancing, playing guitar and watching movies on her couch. Her favorite animals are pigs, ducks, peacocks, cows, whales and elephants! In the future, Hope plans to attend a 4-year university in hopes of becoming a lawyer.
