Amber Altieri
Amber Altieri is a senior and Jurupa Valley high school; this is her first year in Journalism, she is the Photographer for the prowler. She joined Journalism to meet new people have a good time. Amber plays water polo and is a four year varsity swimmer. Amber plans on attending FIDM Orange County when she graduates. With Amber’s free time she likes to be with her family, hang out with her friends, and play with her beautiful dog Bella. Amber is a princess and loves T.mills.

Andrea Lopez
Andrea Lopez is a senior at Jurupa Valley High School. This is her second year in journalism, and second year being editor-in-chief. She decided to join journalism because she enjoys writing. Andrea has been a cheerleader for four years and this year is captain of the varsity cheer squad. She enjoys watching movies (mostly starring Johnny Depp) and spending time with her loved ones. She currently works at a Mexican restaurant on the weekends named Las Playas Family Restaurant. She plans to major in broadcast journalism and travel around the world reporting the news with Anderson Cooper.

Hunter Stuteville is a senior at Jurupa Valley High School and is a second year Journalism student. Hunter is the Asistant Editor in Chief and enjoys reading, writing, music, and movies. Last year Hunter was the Copy Editor of The Prowler. He aspires to have a career as either an Author or a Journalist. In the past Hunter has been involve in Wrestling, Theatre and FFA. Hunter wants to travel the world and write about his experiences, because after all “life is an adventure.”

Melissa Pantoja
Melissa Pantoja is a senior at Jurupa Valley High School, and this is her second year in journalism as Sports Editor. She is in journalism because it is a fun way to be up to date with school events. She has been playing soccer for most of her life, and will hopefully go on to her second year of Varsity soccer while maintaining a 4.1 GPA. She is also involved with A.V.I.D. FNL and CSF. She loves all kinds of music, food, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She will not judge anyone she meets, and she is very easy to get along with. Stephanie Lopez is senior at Jurupa Valley High School. This is currently her second year of journalism she had the position of news editor and is currently editor of arts and entertainment. She likes to be involved in school activities and tries to engage with school news. English is her favorite subject. Marilynn Rodriguez is a junior at Jurupa valley high school. She joined journalism so she can be involved in school more and meet new people. This is her first year on the newspaper staff and she is currently the News Editor. She likes Justin Bieber and loves his songs “All around the World”. Marilynn plays tennis and runs track. She would like to be in ultrasound technician or join the air force. She likes to go shopping. But most of all she loves to listen to music and sing. Manuel Delgadillo is a sophomore at Jurupa Valley High School. This is his first year in journalism. The reason he joined journalism was so he could meet new people and to be able to write stories. In addition to journalism, he is also in Avid and Mock Trial. He likes to watch baseball and soccer with his family. His favorite teams are the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim andMexico’s Selection. In the future he wishes to become a lawyer.

John Gilbert is a senior at Jurupa Valley High School. This is his first year in journalism at this school, although he was also in journalism in the seventh grade. John is in journalism because he enjoys writing and needed a class to fill in his fifth period. He does not have any extra curricular activities, although he is loosely affiliated with the Anime Club. John enjoys playing video games during his free time, and his favorite title is currently “Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days”. He dislikes noisy people. Arleen Alonso
Arleen Alonso is a sophomore taking journalism for the first year. She joined journalism so she can express her passion for writing. Arleen is not a very athletic person, and quite frankly is incapable of playing any sport. Although she isn’t in a sport, she is currently involved in a few clubs. The clubs she’s in are: the American Cancer Society, Upward Bound, Interact, and Mock Trial. Her pastimes include going to “gigs”, watching old horror films, (long walks on the beach, drinking tea, holding small kittens, and being nice, just kidding) and decorating her room. She doesn’t do much besides wake up, go to school, come home, and sleep. She’s stoked for journalism class and the excitement it will bring into her life.
