The Jurupa Valley High School had an amazing turnout with its fall sports. Now it’s time for JVHS winter sports to engage in the action. Here are the upcoming tournaments and games for the Winter Jag athletes.

Girl’s Water Polo

Coach: Jaclyn Elder

The next varsity girl’s water polo game is Monday, Dec. 12 at 3:15 p.m. at Perris High School. Junior varsity’s next game is Monday, Dec. 12 at 4:15 p.m. at Perris High School.

Boy’s Soccer

Coach: Tim Hopper

The varsity boy’s soccer team has their next soccer game on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 3:15 p.m. at Ramona High School(Riverside). Junior varsity’s next game is Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 3:15 p.m. at Ramona High School (Riverside).

Girl’s Soccer

Coach: Paul Kumamoto

Girl’s varsity soccer has their next game on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 3:15 p.m. at Ramona High School (Riverside). Girl’s junior varsity plays their first game on Wednesday, Dec 7 at 3:15 p.m. at Ramona High School (Riverside).

Boy’s Basketball

Coach: Mark Gard

Boy’s varsity basketball had a JVHS tip-off tournament at JVHS on Thursday, Dec. 1. Junior varsity boy’s basketball has their first game on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 4:45 p.m. at JVHS vs. Colton High School. Freshman boy’s basketball has their first game on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 3:15 p.m. at Ontario High School.

Girl’s Basketball

Coach: Dario Frias

The girl’s varsity basketball team participated in the Whittier Christian Tournament from Nov. 28 to Dec. 3. The varsity girl’s will also play in the Claremont Varsity Tournament from Dec. 6 to Dec. 9. Junior varsity and freshman both played in the Lakeside Tournament from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2..

Wrestling

Coach: Sam Reed

The boy’s varsity wrestling team has their first match on Jan. 12 at 4:00 p.m. at Norte Vista High School.
